Riverside Woodcraft Bat Box

Bring these little guys into your backyard with the Riverside Woodcraft Bat Box. This quaint little nest box is perfect for providing a home for our flying friends. Y The untreated or natural timber also makes this bat box an eco-friendly option.

• Our bat boxes are the only product to come untreated as standard; this is so over time the wood can rot, creating a damp environment perfect for bats to live in.
• Unfortunately, natural nesting sites such as hollow trees, old buildings and barns are not as readily available these days. This bat box will provide a haven for bats to roost during the day.
• As the temperature changes bats tend to move around to cooler nesting sites, so it is preferable to site three boxes together in a circle around a tree trunk approximately 5 metres high. Avoid any obstacles such as low branches which may damage their wings when entering the box.
• Bat Boxes are sold as a set of 3 or as a single unit. 
• Each nest box is supplied with steel fixing brackets and screws for easy installation.
• We use solid timber in all of our products which along with the sturdy construction and weatherproof finish creates long-lasting, quality nest boxes.
