Riverside Woodcraft Classic Hedgehog House

The perfect home for your little friend. We've all seen those darling little hedgehogs scurrying around, and now you can provide them with their own special place to live. This hedgehog house is made of solid wood and is fully personalisable. Add a touch of nature to your garden with this charming hedgehog house.

• The Classic Hedgehog House is an economical design and whilst it may be smaller and more simplistic, it still boasts our 12mm 100% recycled plastic roof which can be found on all of our other hedgehog houses and feeding stations - this means that the roof is both water and rot proof.
• It is also made from the same high-quality timber that our other products are made from and is preserved using our signature wildlife-friendly wood preserve.
• The roof is hinged and lockable to keep unwanted guests from interfering with the hedgehogs whilst feeding or hibernating and to prevent them from stealing the hedgehog’s food. 
• Like all of our other Hedgehog Houses and Feeding Stations, the lid also has small groves on the inside to prevent water from running inside keeping the hedgehogs dry.
• All of our Hedgehog Houses are made from solid timber and treated in our wood-preserve, which is both animal and wildlife safe.
• You can either buy the Classic Hedgehog House on it’s own or complete with a Hedgehog Starter Kit!
• The Starter Kit includes x1 2.5kg Premium Complete Hedgehog Food, a 1kg bag of Hedgehog nesting material, x2 L ceramic Hedgehog water/food bowl and a Hedgehog guide.

Care & Cleaning

Retreating your Riverside Woodcraft Hedgehog House:
To keep your Riverside Woodcraft Hedgehog House in top condition, we recommend treating it once a year. You can use Exterior Danish Oil or we also recommend Protek Royal Exterior Finish in Golden Pine if you would like to keep the golden brown colour.

Cleaning your Riverside Woodcraft Hedgehog House:
If you would like to clean your Hedgehog House we recommend using warm water and a sponge. For more stubborn marks, use some mild detergent but please ensure that you have rinsed it off thoroughly and there is no soap left on the product.
