A Nest Box is a great way to invite more wild birds to the garden, by providing a sturdy and safe place to nest and raise young wild birds. This Grey Nest Box will encourage a wide range of wild birds species, like Robins, Sparrows, Wrens and members of the Tit families.

Every Henry Bell Nest Box is made with timber from sustainable sources and this bird box has a dark grey finish to bring contemporary style to any outdoor space.

The Nest Box can be opened at the back for cleaning purposes (usually after September), but be careful not to disturb nesting or roosting birds. Choose an open location to site the nest box and away from predators, with a clear flight path for birds. Usually hanging a nest box between two to four metres in height should help to attract birds.

Face the nest in a north or easterly direction, to avoid strong sunlight and wet winds. Also, keep it away from feeding sites.

The best time of year for siting a nest box is in the Autumn and to help hang up the nest box there is a handy metal loop provided.
