Verwood Slate Roof Bird Table, Bird Tables

The smaller version of our Verwood Large Slate Roof Bird Table. The built in, removable, nut feeder makes this a unique bird table. The perches also allow smaller birds the chance to wait to feed on the main platform or from the nut feeder. A great bird table for small to medium sized bird tables.

The slate roof tiles found on this bird table are produced from a mixture of recycled plastics (52%) and kaolin (48%). They are lightweight and highly resistant to damage. If you require further information please click here.

FSC certified timber is used to manufacture all of our products to create high quality bird tables. The solid base and sturdy construction ensure our bird tables will not topple over easily. A long-lasting weatherproof finish is applied protecting the bird table against even the harshest of elements.

Also available with an eco-friendly rot proof upgrade made from recycled plastic making the base and tray of the bird table impervious to water and makes the tray extremely easy to clean.

The bird table head comes fully assembled, however, the stand of the bird table will require assembly.

**Please Note - Our Bird Tables come in two packages: 1 package containing the head, the 2nd package containing the stand. Thank you**

**Our Eco Rot Proof Upgrade Verwood Slate Roof Bird Table is available for Next Day Delivery if ordered before 11am. Mon-Fri**

Hi there, we like the look of this one but have some troublesome squirrels. Is this one reasonably squirrel proof? If not, are there any others you'd would especially recommend?

Thanks in advance.
( James, 16/03/2019 )
The only ones we really do are the cage tables, these are squirrel proof, alternatively you could try to make the squirrels less interested in the bird table, this solution is too long to type here, email me and I will send you some details of how to achieve this ( Ricky, 16/03/2019 )
Is it possible to have a plastic inner tray on the bird table to facilitate cleaning? ( Michele Gray, 13/11/2018 )
It difficult to add a tray due to the nature of the design, we do however offer eco versions of some models where the feeding tray is made of 19mm thick recycled plastic making it easier to keep clean ( Ricky, 13/11/2018 )
Does the top of the peanut feeder pull up in the same way as the Sheringham Slate Roof bird table? ( S Dickens, 01/05/2017 )
Yes the feeder is the same on all of our bird tables, it forms the ridge of the roof and just pulls up to fill with peanuts ( admin, 01/05/2017 )
I was looking at buying the Verwood bird table, but on your website under the picture it startstalking about the Clifton bird table. I amconfused? ( jane, 22/08/2016 )
Hi Jane,

Yes the Clifton is the same as the verwood bird table it was a name we used to call it a few years ago not to worry we will amend the information on the verwood

Many Thanks Chris ( admin, 22/08/2016 )
Is it possible to buy just the top table part of the verwood, and if so what would the price be? Many thanks Vic. ( Vic Rawlings, 25/05/2016 )
Hi just choose the top only option when ordering, click next and the price will appear before you enter the payment pagr ( admin, 25/05/2016 )
Hi
I am looking for a sturdy bird table that is tall enough for the birds to be safe from my cat !! Which one would you recommend?
Thankyou
( Jackie Sweeney , 13/05/2016 )
All of our bird tables are 50" high from the floor to the feeding table so no advantage their with any of them on the height, perhaps a caged version would be more suitable for you as the cats will not be able to get into the feeding area, also a smaller table would be suitable as cats are not able to climb them so easily and get into the top part as the table will move around more than a larger table ( admin, 13/05/2016 )
Hello
Do the bird tables come ready assembled please?
Thanks
June
( June, 28/02/2016 )
Hi June, The bird table arrives in one box, the top is assembled and the stand is part assembled requiring about 15 mins to assemble with a screwdriver or 5 mins if you have an electric screwdriver, we can email you the assembly instructions if you wanted more info on the assembly etc ( admin, 28/02/2016 )
Are the short dowels that are currently on the outside (on the sides) meant to be driven through to the inside - as your website mentions perches for the birds to sit comfortably on whilst feeding? ( Bob Christine, 11/01/2016 )
Hi Bob,

The dowels on this model are designed to allow the birds to land on the table and then begin to start feeding or wait on the perch until a space in the table is available. The nut feeder mesh allows them to grip the feeder while eating the nuts and the table base allows them to walk around eating the food. The perches are only on the outside as if we made them longer and they went inside also they would most likely get in the way of the birds feeding, I hope this answers your question, please let me know if you need anymore info

Many Thanks

Ricky ( admin, 11/01/2016 )
